Beyond logistics, adventure elopement photographers tend to attract couples who are choosing their day intentionally — who want the ceremony in a place that means something, not a place that photographs well for someone else’s Instagram. The “adventure” part is as much about the spirit of the elopement as the elevation gain.
Adventure elopements run the range from genuinely remote — backcountry campsites, off-trail destinations that require permits and multi-day hikes — to accessible but meaningful: a state park at sunrise, a lake you drove to on your first trip together, a canyon two hours outside of town.
