Most couples sessions last 60–90 minutes, which gives us time to explore the location and capture natural moments together.
For proposals, we plan around the big moment. After the proposal, we usually spend 30–60 minutes taking engagement-style photos so you can celebrate and soak it all in.
No rushing. Just time to enjoy the moment.
How much time should I book for couples or proposal photos?
The most meaningful photos usually happen in places that already matter to your story. Your favorite park, a coffee shop you love, a scenic trail, or anywhere that feels comfortable together.
If you’re not sure where to go, we’re always happy to help. We know lots of beautiful spots around Texas and Arkansas. A few favorites include Griggs Park for a downtown Dallas vibe, Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, and Murrell Park in Flower Mound. In Arkansas, we love visiting the Capitol, public parks, and cozy cafes.
The goal is simple: keep it romantic, keep it you.

Start with connection.
You’ll spend a lot of time with your photographer, so it’s important to choose someone who makes you feel comfortable, supported, and fully yourself.
Look for a style you love, a portfolio that reflects real emotion, and a photographer whose values align with yours.
Most importantly, choose someone who sees and celebrates your story, not someone trying to fit you into a template.
When you feel relaxed and safe with your photographer, the photos naturally follow.

How do we choose the right photographer?
We always send sneak peeks first.
For proposals especially, we try to send a few images within a few hours so you can share the big news right away.
Your full gallery will follow shortly after, fully edited and ready to download and share.
When will we get our photos back?
If you can, we highly recommend it.
Photos capture the moment beautifully, but video lets you hear the reactions, the laughter, and the words you say to each other.
