Finding a wedding photographer who is genuinely affirming — not just “inclusive” as a marketing line — matters more than many couples let on. It affects how comfortable you feel in front of the camera. It changes what the photos look like.
Hey Love Studio is a queer-owned studio. Adeline and Valerie Merrick are a married same-sex couple, and they built this studio because they knew what it felt like to search for a photographer and quietly wonder whether they would actually be celebrated or just tolerated.
They photograph same-sex weddings, two-bride ceremonies, two-groom weddings, non-binary partnerships, and queer elopements across central Arkansas. They are one of the few queer-owned studios in the state, and they show up for couples the way they would have wanted someone to show up for them.

When you reach out, we start with a conversation — not a sales pitch. We want to hear about your day, what matters most, and what you hope your photos and film will feel like when you look back on them years from now.
From there, we build coverage around your timeline, your venue, and whether you want photography, film, or both. We are with you from getting ready through the last dance, moving through your day the way a good guest would — present, attentive, and quietly making sure we do not miss a thing.
We serve couples across central Arkansas, Little Rock, the River Valley, and throughout the state. We also travel nationally for destination weddings and elopements.
If you are planning a wedding or elopement in central Arkansas and are still looking for your photo and video team, we would love to hear from you. Reach out here to start the conversation.
